Performance and Features

　　Compared to the first-generation model, the second-generation blind plate addresses several issues users encountered, such as: For vertical blind plates, water and dust often accumulate around the head cover, leading to rust and hindering smooth opening. Additionally, with high-pressure, large-sized blind plates, the heavy head cover makes it extremely difficult to open. The second-generation design features significant improvements: both the inner and outer surfaces of the head cover are now curved, enhancing structural strength while reducing weight. A safety anti-derailment ring has also been added above the locking ring to prevent instability. Furthermore, a dust-proof ring has been integrated between the head cover and the vessel flange, effectively preventing rainwater, sand, and other debris from accumulating and causing corrosion. This product outperforms the first-generation blind plate and is especially well-suited for high-pressure, large-scale equipment.

　　Equipped with a safety interlock device

　　This product comes with a safety interlock device; users can optionally add an audible and visual alarm system if desired.

　　Before opening the blind plate, the safety interlock must first be disengaged; otherwise, it cannot be opened. If an audible and visual alarm is installed, it will activate during the process of releasing the safety interlock—if residual pressure remains inside the equipment. In this case, you must continue venting until all residual pressure has been completely released, at which point the alarm will automatically stop.

　　Before closing the blind plate, first install the safety interlock device; otherwise, the equipment cannot be pressurized. If a sound-and-light alarm has been added, it will continuously sound an alert at this point, reminding the operator to inspect the safety interlock mechanism.

　　During the process described above, the alarm continuously displays the pressure value inside the device (on the digital display).

　　Clearly specify the blind flange interface diameter as either the inner (or outer) diameter, wall thickness, and weld groove type.

　　Clearly define the design pressure, design temperature, working medium, and its corrosion characteristics;

　　When selecting the material for blind flanges (or the material of the equipment to which the blind flanges are connected), is it necessary to provide HIC and SSC test reports for sulfur-resistant materials?
