　　Performance and Features

　　This blind flange represents the complete domestic production of Italy’s FAI company’s quick-opening blind flange, featuring a three-lip clamp design that significantly outperforms the earlier two-lip clamp models commonly used domestically. Compared to other blind flanges, its standout features include exceptional reliability—making it the ideal choice for high-pressure applications—and an exceptionally broad application range, suitable for high, medium, and low pressures alike. It’s especially well-suited for large-diameter blind flanges with diameters of 1500 mm or greater.

　　How it works

　　Refer to the six diagrams above: The blind plate has protruding bolt heads at both ends of its top. Use the matching wrench to turn one of the ends, which will cause the locking mechanism to open (see the middle diagram below). Once unlocked, you can then proceed to remove the head cover (as shown in the bottom-right diagram).

　　Equipped with a safety interlock device

　　This product is equipped with a safety interlock device to prevent accidental operation and ensure safety.

　　Its function is as follows: Before closing the blind plate, this device must be properly installed—otherwise, the equipment cannot be pressurized. And before opening the blind plate, this device must first be deactivated to safely release any residual pressure inside the equipment; otherwise, the blind plate cannot be opened.

　　Ordering Instructions

　　When placing an order, customers must provide the following information:

　　Provide the equipment inner diameter, wall thickness, and weld preparation type for devices connected to the quick-opening blind flange, or directly specify the blind flange's design inner diameter.

　　Provide the design pressure or operating pressure, design temperature or operating temperature, working medium, and its corrosion characteristics.

　　Provide the material for blind flange designs (forgings) or the material of equipment welded directly to the blind flange.

　　Vertical or horizontal— for horizontal models, specify whether they open left or right;

　　If it’s a sulfur-resistant material, is it necessary to provide HIC and SSC test reports, among others?
