The three-lobed clamp-type quick-opening blind plate is widely used at the ports of various pressurized equipment, serving as a replacement for flange covers. It boasts a long service life, ensures safe operation, and significantly boosts operational efficiency.
The quick-opening blind plate features safety self-locking, vibration resistance, anti-loosening capabilities, secondary pressure relief upon opening, safe and reliable operation, excellent sealing performance, convenient assembly and disassembly for maintenance, easy transportation, high opening/closing precision, and a wide range of applications.
The large-caliber three-lobed clamp-type quick-opening blind plate includes a single support, piston rod, pivot shaft, long-arm linkage, intermediate support, rotating shaft, blind plate cover, blind plate cover positioning pin, lead screw, blind plate base, three-lobed clamp, and a safety interlock device. The single support is rigidly connected to the blind plate cover, which in turn is attached to the blind plate base via the cover pin. The blind plate base is also equipped with a lead screw. Outside the blind plate cover, you’ll find the three-lobed clamp and the safety interlock mechanism. Meanwhile, the blind plate cover is linked to the long-arm linkage through the intermediate support and pivot shaft, while one end of the blind plate base connects to the long-arm linkage via the single support. Finally, the piston rod is coupled to the long-arm linkage through the pivot shaft.
1. In the clamp-type quick-opening blind plate, the sealing surface and the sealing ring do not rotate relative to each other, making it unsuitable for harder steels or thinner plates. This design prevents damage to the sealing surface, and measuring the diameter of the indentation on the sample’s surface helps achieve a more effective seal for the entire system.
2. The clamp-type quick-opening blind plate ensures simultaneous operation during locking, providing even distribution of force and reducing the length of the opening screw, thereby making the opening and closing process more flexible and reliable.
3. The clamp-type quick-opening blind plate simultaneously increases the contact area of the locking teeth, ensuring that the tooth engagement covers more than 90% of the surface. This design makes it particularly suitable for high-pressure, large-diameter natural gas pipelines. The primary pressure-bearing components of the quick-opening blind plate are entirely machined from 20# or 16Mn forged steel, with no welded joints in the critical pressure-bearing areas.
